Christopher Ng (CPP+ MRS engineer - based at the UofA) – is a young and gifted engineer with over five years of experience. He took over from Jan Soukup who retired in 2011. He has experience with big project design and construction, is expert in Computer Aided Mechanical Design and finite element analysis as well as cryogenic construction techniques (with liquid Argon). His main responsibilities in the past few years include:

• Lead engineer for the DEAP acrylic vessel (containing liquid Argon) design and fabrication
• Responsible engineer for the rope buoyancy restraint basket system for SNO+
• Engineer responsible for the mechanical design of the SHMS for Jlab Hall C
