Richard Soluk (CPP+ MRS technologist - based at the UofA) - holds a PhD in particle physics and has had over ten years of experience as a detector technologist with additional experience in detector design with GEANT3/4 and CAD. His main contributions over the past ten years include:

• Lead technologist on the design, construction and installation of the ATLAS-LUCID lumi monitor
• Lead technologist on the design, construction ATLAS-LUCID upgrade quartz fibre readout
• Technical Coordination of the ALTA Educational Cosmic Ray array program
• Lead technologist on the design, construction and installation of LUCID Phase-0 upgrade
• Manager of the Radon Free Laboratory construction
• Lead technologist for acrylic and rope interactions for SNO+ construction
• Technical Coordination of the ALTA Educational Cosmic Ray array program
• Installation of DEAP acrylic ball light-guides
• Initial installation and calibration of MoEDAL Nuclear Track Detectors and Time Pix detectors
